Satellite Imagery
The Land and Coastal Division maintains electronic maps covering all of the Marshall Islands, and is constantly working to keep them updated. High resolution satellite photos are available for:

Majuro
Kwajalein
Wotje
Mili and
Maloelap

Low resolution Landsat Imagery is also available for:

The Republic of the Marshall Islands
The Federated States of Micronesia and
The Republic of Palau

The EPA also has a large-format printer that can print images up to poster size. Visit the EPA and speak to one of the Land and Coastal Officers to discuss your particular needs, and to see what is available.

Geographic Information System (GIS)
We use ArcGIS and mobile Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to collect spatial data including current land use, vegetation, coastal development, water quality, sewage and potential pollution sources, and to monitor development activities.
