Who we are

The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is an independent statutory authority in the Republic of the Marshall Islands with ties to the Office of the President. It was established under the National Environmental Protection Act in 1984. The EPA is the key Agency mandated with protecting the environment of the Marshall Islands. The EPA headquarters are located in Delap, Majuro Atoll, with extension offices in Ebeye and Jaluit.
